Since the beginning of the Fall 2016 semester, the board and the remaining chapter members have worked day in and day out to set up the organization for quick, yet long lasting growth. All these hard workers accomplished so much including:
- Chartering 18 new members - Winning the College of Business competition - Coming home from Regionals with the National Speakers Award - Helping other clubs on campus - Becoming Certified with the Philanthropy Counsel - Social events - Gaining corporate sponsors like Umpqua Bank and Bay Alarm Security - Volunteering for the Sweet 16 Sales Competition - Hosting recruiters from all over the country - Holding in-house business workshops There is one accomplishment, however, that encompasses them all. The National Pi Sigma Epsilon organization keeps track of all chapters of the fraternity and recently informed Eta Theta that it has been sitting at the very top of the list. This means that the Chico State chapter of PSE is currently the highest performing chapter in the entire nation. We need to hold on to our ranking for a few more weeks before we can officially be declared as the Top New Chapter for 2016, but we’re only just getting started and plan to only go up from here. Again, we could not have gotten to this standing with nationals without the effort, passion, and commitment of our board, seasoned members, and even our newest recruits. Thank you to everyone in Eta Theta for all that you do for this organization.
